E. James Wiley, III  M.D.

Dr. Wiley was born and raised in Richmond. He attended college at the University of North Carolina, and medical school at the Medical College of Virginia. He received his pediatric training at Bowman Gray School of Medicine and at the University of Virginia.
Dr. Wiley opened his solo practice in Pediatrics in 1998, and was joined by Dr. Arkin in 1999, forming Wiley & Arkin Pediatrics, LLC.

Dr. Wiley is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia.

He is the proud father of five boys.

David Arkin  M.D.

Dr. Arkin was born and raised in New York City. He attended college at the City College of the City University of New York, and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1977. He completed his pediatric training at the Medical College of Virginia, and has been practicing primary care pediatrics since 1980 in Richmond. He joined Dr. Wiley in 1999, forming Wiley & Arkin Pediatrics.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa and Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical school honor society. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical College of Virginia.

Dr. Arkin is married, and the proud father of four grown sons. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and refereeing soccer matches.

Laura Goradia  M.D.

Dr. Goradia received her medical degree in 1995 from the University of Virginia. She then did her Pediatric residency training at the University of Oklahoma, during which she received two teaching awards. After training, she worked in Baltimore, MD as a pediatric hospitalist, specializing in the care of hospitalized children and covering a neonatal intensive care unit.

In 1999, she relocated to roanoke, VA with her husband, where whe worked in a teaching pediatric outpatient clinic, and as a hospital attending physician. She joined Wiley & Arkin Pediatrics in 2002. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics.

In her free time, Dr. Goradia enjoys running, skiing, and playing with her two young children.

Barry  Auerbach  MD, MPH

Dr. Auerbach joined Wiley & Arkin Pediatrics in April, 2007.
He was born in Washington, D.C., and attended college and medical school at the University of Maryland. His pediatric training was obtained at the Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. He also received a Master's degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, where he completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Disease.
After practicing Pediatrics in Baltimore, he moved to the Richmond area in 1998, where he has been practicing primary care pediatrics on the South side of Richmond.
He is married and has two children. Dr. Auerbach is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics, and a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
